MILL, EURE ET LOIR
Renovation of the Mill and conversion of its six farm buildings and outhouses into living spaces. The complete reconstruction of the stone facades in their original state was necessary to ensure unity of the elements. Due to the terrain, an apron was built on a building facing the bank of the mill race. The existing walls of stone and mud made openings and modifications to the facades particularly challenging. All of the wooden rafters of the six buildings and the roofs covered in ancient tiles were renovated or replaced. Modern installations, such as a low-temperature floor heating system and a heat pump, provide optimum comfort in the nine suites.
